No Pressure Just Results

I was looking to sell my rental property and was referred to a realtor by a friend. The realtor did some comps in the area and after a few phone conversations she assured me I couldn’t get more than 150k for my property. Those numbers weren’t going to work so I was pretty disappointed and decided  not to sell. She again assured me I was making the right decision to wait and even if I fixed up /upgraded the property it would top out at 158-160k. My parents are neighbors with Joe Newton and they mentioned to him in passing about how I was interested in selling my house. He offered to look at it to see what he thought. From the first conversation I had with Joe he was very knowledgeable of the real estate market and all the ins and outs of selling a home. He was laid back and did not put any pressure on me to sign anything or to try and get my listing. He broke down the realistic numbers of what we could get for the house and what upgrades he thought we could do to increase the property value. I had a good feeling about Joe and decided to roll the dice and sell the house. I live in California so having great communication with my realtor was huge. Especially with the time differences and how busy I am out here. I grew up in Florida doing construction so with the help of some old crews (and some new ones Joe recommended) I was able to do some upgrades on the house. Joe did not disappoint as a Realtor and went above and beyond with checking on the construction work and the subs. I was blown away with how helpful he was and this wasn’t even part of his job! Joe went above and beyond throughout the entire sale of the house. Because of his knowledge and advice I was able to get the max dollars for my house. It ended up being sold for 185k! After the upgrades were completed an offer was made within 3 weeks. There were daily showings and Joe worked very hard at showing the house and making every effort to get a good buyer. Do yourself a huge favor and hire Joe to sell your house! I’m glad I did and this experience has taught me how important it is to have a good realtor. Can’t say enough good thing about Joe. Not just as a realtor but as a person. Give him a call and see what he can do for you!
